The Australian War Memorial

The Australian War Memorial combines a shrine, a world-class museum, and an extensive archive. The Memorial’, s purpose is to commemorate the sacrifice of those Australians who have died in war. Its mission is to assist Australians to remember, interpret and understand the Australian experience of war and its enduring impact on Australian society.

The Financial Operations team is a part of the Finance Section within the Australian War Memorial, led by the Chief Finance Officer. The Section encompasses Budgets, Financial Operations, Financial Reporting and Analysis and Procurement. This role will report directly to the Manager, Financial Reporting and Analysis (MFRA) and will supervise four Finance Officers. Under limited direction, the main focus of this role is the delivery of day to day activities to ensure accurate, high-quality financial services that meet internal and external deadlines.
