Duties
The Governance Coordinator reports directly to the Manager, Governance and is responsible for a range of activities, including, but not limited to:
- assisting the Manager, Governance to respond to requests for information from the Minister’s Office and the Portfolio Department
- coordinating background papers to enable Executive members to prepare for Senate Estimates hearings, and the coordination of responses to Questions on Notice
- providing a range of Secretariat support to the Museum’s Council, and Committees of Council, including coordination and preparation of meeting agendas, papers and minutes
- contributing to the development of the Museum’s strategic, corporate and business planning processes, including design and dissemination of templates and providing advice to Business Units on reporting requirements
- supporting the development of corporate Key Performance Indicators, including visitation estimates for the Portfolio Budget Statements and performance targets for the Museum’s Corporate Plan
- coordinating internal and external corporate planning and performance reporting, in accordance with the requirements of the enhanced Commonwealth performance framework
- managing the collation and reporting of visitation data, providing advice and assistance to Business Units on reporting requirements and processes
- assisting with other Governance Unit priorities in times of peak workload
Eligibility
