Auckland Museum is an influential, much-loved organisation at the centre of Auckland’s identity, committed to developing and sharing engaging content through its galleries, exhibition, events and educational programmes. An exciting opportunity has become available working in the public programmes and capital projects team to provide graphic design solutions for our temporary exhibitions and permanent galleries. Reporting to the Operations Manager – Exhibitions and Events you will work as an integral part of the wider team working from concept design through to implementation you will create and deliver graphic design solutions for a wide variety of projects. To be successful in this role, you will:
- Demonstrate evidence of graphic design delivery in temporary and permanent exhibition environment
- Demonstrate evidence of graphic design delivery in a fast paced team
- Hold relevant qualifications in design related areas
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service ethic
- Demonstrate high level of organisational and creative skills
- Understand the principles of equal opportunities, diversity management and the Treaty of Waitangi as they relate to the Museum environment
