Australia’s largest public museum organisation is offering a fixed term opportunity to act in the role of Head Financial Planning and Analysis.  The purpose of this position is to provide strategic leadership to the Financial Planning and Analysis department and to provide expert level financial management information, analysis and advice to key internal and external stakeholders that supports decision making and delivery of Museums Victoria’s Corporate and Business plans.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The position is accountable for providing expert level financial management information, analysis and advice; leading and supporting a high performing team; and delivering and maintaining high level sensitive reporting systems and processes.

Notable skills and experiences:

The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in delivering management accounting and reporting services involving complex funding sources in a similar-sized organisation, presenting analyses and reports to non-technical audiences and hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant accounting discipline.
