The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) celebrates the screen in its myriad forms. Situated in the heart of Melbourne in Federation Square, ACMI is a major publicly funded museum, hosting exhibition spaces, galleries, cinemas, a Mediatheque and archive plus a shop, cafe and international touring arm. Supported by funding through the Victorian Government, it is the world’s most visited moving image or film cultural centre, attracting over 1.45 million visitors in 15/16.
Reporting to the CEO, we are seeking a passionate, strategic and self-motivated individual to make their mark by creatively developing and delivering an ambitious strategy for private sector and government fundraising for ACMI. You will have a proven track record in delivering successful development strategies, bringing established networks across the corporate, government and philanthropic sectors. This experience will be coupled with a collaborative leadership style and the ability to manage relationships at the Executive, Board and Government level.
This position is a limited duration contract of two years with an option to extend for an additional two years.
