The Australian Museum is at an exciting time in its evolution with new Director Kim McKay, transformational development works underway due for completion mid-2015 and significant plans for the future expansion of the Museum.

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Head of Development to lead fundraising for the Australian Museum and to be part of a dynamic and dedicated team that is driven to excel.

About the role

Reporting to the Associate Director, Development, Communications and Marketing, this role secures financial support for the Australian Museum from private sources including individual donors, Trusts & Foundations, bequests and members. The role leads the Development branch to deliver the Museum’s donor and membership programs to increase revenues, engagement and awareness, and to enhance the Museum’s brand.
