The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) celebrates the screen in its myriad forms. Situated in the heart of Melbourne in Federation Square, ACMI is a major publicly funded museum, hosting exhibition spaces, galleries, cinemas, a Mediatheque and archive plus a shop, cafe and international touring arm. Supported by funding through the Victorian Government, it is the world’s most visited moving image or film cultural centre, attracting over 1.45 million visitors in 15/16.
Reporting to the Deputy CEO, the Head of Human Resources will deliver operational and strategic initiatives across the entire employee lifecycle. Leading a small team, the role is responsible for overseeing recruitment, performance management, employee relations, organisational development and OH&S.
We are looking for a dynamic HR leader to drive this vital part of our business with a strong collaborative approach and a proven track record in trade union negotiations and in leading HR innovation. The Head of HR will have an engaging leadership style, acting as a key role model for the organisation’s values and have extensive experience in HR management.
