The Head of ICT Operations is responsible for leading, planning and implementing ICT service models and ways of working across multiple sites including; ICT workflows, commissions and the day-to-day operations of the ICT team, systems, and infrastructure. The role is accountable for managing technical staff responsible for the maintenance and support of these systems, ensuring that they operate effectively and efficiently to support operations. The role will work across the Powerhouse to deliver its digital transformation enabling efficient and collaborative ways of working and increasing technology and cybersecurity capabilities.
The Powerhouse, through the renewal and across its platforms, will redefine museums in the 21st century by renegotiating the terms of engagement with communities, radically returning to and reckoning with its legacy as a museum of industry and fortifying its vital role in the cultural and economic ecosystems of NSW, Australia and the world. In 2023 the Powerhouse, one of Australia’s oldest and most important cultural institutions, continues the delivery of its renewal program across its five platforms, Powerhouse Parramatta, Powerhouse Ultimo, Powerhouse Castle Hill, Sydney Observatory and Powerhouse Digital our space to tell stories and provide new levels of access to over 500,000 objects in the Powerhouse Collection.
