Duties
The Historian performs a range of higher-level research and writing tasks in support of Australian military historical projects relating to Australian War Memorial publications, conferences, multi-media products, exhibitions, research and dissemination of military history information.
Notes
- A history degree from a recognised university is highly desirable.
- Substantial progress towards a higher degree in history in relevant fields is also desirable.
- Specialist knowledge or expertise through research and publication in major conflicts would also be an advantage.
- Non-ongoing opportunity will be offered for a specified term
- Vacancy to be filled from late February 2017 for a period of approximately 12 months
