As the History Curator you will be required to:

This is for a full time permanent vacancy. There will also be a Pool running for a period of 18 months from the initial appointment. Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool from which full-time, part-time, fixed term or permanent appointments may be made.

A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department of Culture and the Arts Police Record Screening Policy.

You must have an Australian History degree or higher to be considered for this position. All overseas qualifications must have been assessed for Australian equivalency.

You must also possess a current “C” Class driver’s licence or equivalent.

Location
This position is split between historic Fremantle, close to the bustling cafe strip, tourist sights and the modern new Maritime Museum and the Museum’s Research and Collections facility at 49 Kew Street, Welshpool.
