Conditions
We are seeking 1 (one) full time permanent History Curator – Specified Calling Level 2 including a pool as well as establishing a pool for Assistant Curator, History – Specified Calling Level 1.

These Pools will run for a period of 24 months from the initial appointment. Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool where appointments may be considered for similar vacancies for full-time, part-time, fixed term or permanency.

A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.

You must possess a degree in Australian History or closely related field or higher for the History Curator role and a degree in Australian History or closely related field for the Assistant Curator pool. Primary research skills and an honours degree or higher would be an advantage. All overseas qualifications must have been assessed for Australian equivalency. You must also possess a current “C” Class driver’s licence or equivalent.

Location
This position is located at the Museum’s Collections and Research Centre at 49 Kew Street, Welshpool.
