The Powerhouse, through its renewal and across its platforms, will redefine museums in the 21st century by renegotiating the terms of engagement with communities, radically returning to and reckoning with its legacy as a museum of industry and fortifying its vital role in the cultural and economic ecosystems of NSW, Australia and the world.

In 2023 the Powerhouse, one of Australia’s oldest and most important cultural institutions, continues the delivery of its renewal program across its five platforms:

The HR business partner is a key role in the HR team  to deliver best practice HR service and advice across the employee lifecycle activities, such as recruitment, change management, job design, learning and development, WHS, workforce planning, performance, employee relations, industrial relations, legislation interpretation, and talent management to support the Powerhouse Museum achieve its objectives and deliver on major reform and strategic priorities.

We recognise and learn from the strengths of First Nations peoples of New South Wales and their continuing connection to, and unique cultural and spiritual relationship with, Country.
