Working alongside the IMAX Front of House team, key duties of this role include:

As the first point of contact for the public, interact in a courteous, professional manner whilst providing services and information regarding IMAX Theatre.
- Work under routine supervision either individually or in a team environment on a range of tasks including ushering; preparation for sale and the sale of food and drink items and receiving and merchandising of stock.
- Perform basic computer tasks, including ticket sales and cash register operation.
- Make decisions in relation to routine matters within the area of work.
- Provide high levels of customer service in all interactions with visitors.
- Ensure the highest presentation standards are maintained in all areas including completing cleaning duties where required.
- In addition to the key duties of this role, the successful applicant may also be directed to perform duties as a Visitor Engagement Officer and Retail Assistant as required.
OTHER INFORMATION:
This role is a casual position. The hourly rate is $33.09 per hour (includes casual loading). To be a successful applicant, you must be available to work over a 7-day operation.
Successful applicants must be available to work during the June / July school holiday period.
