The History Trust of SA is looking to partner with a third-party supplier to provide infrastructure managed services that include migration of its on-premise infrastructure to the cloud and replacement of Office 16 with M365 suite of products.

The Infrastructure Specialist reports to the Manager Digital Transformation Project and is responsible for working with the supplier to develop and implement managed infrastructure  services to ensure that ICT infrastructure reliably supports History Trust of SA’s (HTSA) business operations and service delivery.

Key components of the role:

  • Responsible for operations, administration and support of HTSA ICT infrastructure and services to reliably support HTSA business operations and service delivery, in cooperation with external service providers.
  • Undertake regular reviews for the effective and efficient performance of ICT infrastructure systems, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning with external service providers.
  • Ensure that the ICT infrastructure is set up to comply with Government of SA’s Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Monitor the effective life-cycle management of ICT Infrastructure assets and compliance with Departmental policy, and SA Government strategic sourcing agreements.
  • Ensure that the design and implementation of cloud based infrastructure for HTSA by third party suppliers is fit for purpose and meets the needs of HTSA staff and customers.

About you: You will have worked in ICT Infrastructure Projects involving cloud migration and implementation of M365. ICT Networking skills will be highly regarded.

Essential Qualifications:

Tertiary qualifications in an ICT related discipline or equivalent experience

Special Conditions:

Some out of hours work may be required. Occasional weekend work may be required. Engagement in this role is subject to a satisfactory Department of Human Services Working with Children Check. Intrastate and interstate travel may be required and a current driver’s licence is desirable.
