Duties

The Museum has an exciting opportunity for a professional to join the Public Engagement division as an International Cultural Adviser and Touring Program Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for aspects of the International Program, including the Museum’s engagement with China. Part of this responsibility will involve liaising and negotiating with the government and cultural institutions in the Asia Pacific while being a key source of advice on Chinese and Asia Pacific cultural considerations to the Museum.

The incumbent will liaise with key partners delivering specific activities under existing and potentially new Memorandum of Understanding, such as major collection based exhibitions, collection loan activity and capacity building programs. They will have responsibility for project management of exhibitions touring internationally.
