Job Description
The Auckland Museum is currently looking for an Interpretive Planning Coordinator. This role is responsible for providing content research, coordination and support for the Exhibitions team.

As a vital part of the Exhibitions Department, the Interpretive Planning team is responsible for providing audience advocacy throughout the exhibition development process as well as providing specialist knowledge and leadership around interpretive planning and content development for permanent galleries, temporary exhibitions, and other display projects.

With several Māori and Pacific gallery renewal projects being initiated soon, an ability to work within the principles of Teu Le Vā and He Korahi Māori is required in this role. An understanding of Tikanga Māori and or Pacific is strongly desired.
