The Digital Engagement and IT team is responsible for public-facing digital experiences onsite and online, and the IT footprint for the Museum.
Positioned within the Digital Engagement team, the IT Support Officer will assist in the day-to-day administration of MoAD’s digital systems. You will be trained by and receive extensive guidance from the team to undertake the duties of this position. You must have a willingness to learn and develop new skills, and the ability to work well within a small team.
The key duties of the position include:
Under the direction of the EL1 Manager IT & Web, the IT Support Officer will:
- Provide basic level 1 technical support to staff and perform basic system administration.
- Assist with the maintenance of MoAD’s ICT systems, including the Digital Asset Management system (DAMs) and Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).
- Undertake preliminary research on the software and tools in use across the Museum, and assist with the creation of risk-based security assessments.
- Maintain as-built system documentation for MoAD’s digital systems.
- Support the adoption of digital systems by training end-users.
- Monitor the IT helpdesk and respond to tickets in a timely manner.
