Museum expansion and renovation projects present an exciting opportunity for development and innovation. But it is also a challenge to involve the audience in this deep changing process. Jeff Levine, Marketing Manager at the Whitney Museum of American Art, was deeply involved in planning the Whitney’s reopening this year and he will give some exciting insights about the strategy of a successful re-opening in order to connect the audience, with the new building.
Paula Röhss, Director of Communications and Audiences at the Nationalmuseum in Sweden will explain what opportunities and experimental space museum closings can hold and how closing your museum can open up new audiences.
