The National Standards for Australian Museums and Galleries, version 2.0 launched, Museums & Galleries of NSW, 22 March 2023

The National Standards for Australian Museums and Galleries, version 2.0 are live on the AMaGA website at:

This update to the Standards has involved creating new content in response to major changes in ideology and museum practice since the original version in 2008. These changes include areas such as accessibility, inclusion, sustainability, and digital engagement.

The launch event for The National Standards for Australian Museums and Galleries, version 2.0 was held on 22 March 2023.

The Ian Potter Foundation has supported the National Standards for Australian Museums and Galleries by funding the development, copy editing, and design of this document.
