Lead Technician, Digital Media Systems – Special Projects
Australia’s largest public museum organization is seeking a highly skilled Lead Technician, Multimedia Systems to lead the technical implementation of a major inbound International Exhibition. The primary responsibility of this position is to specify and install Multimedia systems for an existing exhibition and to support related components of the exhibition project.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The primary responsibility of this position is to specify and install Multimedia systems for an existing exhibition and to support related components of the exhibition project.
Notable skills and experiences:
- Demonstrated experience in electrical planning for digital media systems and knowledge of electrical networks and systems.
- Wide-ranging experience in exhibition systems and processes, including knowledge of audio/visual performance and installation, show control systems, production, digital and computer technologies and their application in an exhibition environment and variety of public applications
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise with and advise staff at all levels and work co-operatively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the latest OH&S and site safety practices and experience working on an exhibition or theatrical construction site. Must hold a valid Construction Induction (White Card) ticket.
- Demonstrated experience in initiating and leading small technical projects including demonstrated experience in supervising staff and contractors as well as coordinating budgets.
