About you

We are looking for enthusiastic, considered, engaging and organised individuals who are passionate about delivering programs in the Museum, enjoy problem solving and thrive in a customer facing role.

The successful applicant will be expected to:

  • Learn, follow, and deliver programs as directed
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment and as part of a team.
  • Be suited to one or more of the following; Present education workshops and programs; Deliver programs relating to aboriginal histories and cultures; Lead activities with families and children; and production and technical set up and delivery of talks and live arts programs.

Eligibility to Apply

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments) at the time of application.

A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.

We also require a Working with Children Check prior to beginning employment.

Pool Recruitment

This pool will be open for a period of 12 months from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes. Casual appointments may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.

Applicants found suitable in this pool, may be considered for subsequent, similar vacancies with the WA Museum for the duration of the pool.
