Te Papa is seeking an experienced Manager to lead the successful delivery of innovative audience engagement and education programmes for the Museum of Living Cultures.
Our Audience Engagement team members work with programme development teams to tell engaging stories about our taonga by determining appropriate target audiences and delivering audience engagement initiatives. Programmes operate across multiple platforms including exhibitions, public programmes, events, outreach, education, community engagement activities, workshops, and lectures.
To be successful in this position, you will need:
- Proven experience managing people and delivery
- Great people and organising skills
- The skills to define requirements, plan, and execute projects and plans and ensure the effective integration of programmes.
- An inclusive approach that supports the principles of Mana Taonga
- The ability to understand the implications of statistical analysis and research findings
- Flexibility and resilience
- Ideally you will also have worked successfully in a matrix environment.
