Powerhouse Museum

The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences sits at the intersection of the arts, design, science and technology and plays a critical role in engaging communities with contemporary ideas and issues. Established in 1879, the museum includes the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney Observatory and the Powerhouse in Castle Hill. The Museum is custodian to over half a million objects of national and international significance and is considered one of the finest and most diverse collections in Australia.

In response to the Powerhouse renewal, the Collection Operations and Digitisation Project Manager is responsible for managing key digitisation workstreams, complex collection logistics and operations. The role will manage project workflows, collection movement and relocation logistics, project streams within approved frameworks and budgets. The role will collaborate with teams across the organisation and externally to ensure world class standards are embedded across project delivery.
