The Sovereign Hill Museums Association is a dynamic group of museums comprising of the Sovereign Hill Outdoor Museum, Gold Museum and Narmbool – a 2,000 hectare sheep farm and bush property south of Ballarat. At Narmbool we aim to inspire an understanding of the importance of the land, water and biodiversity in Australia’s future.

Narmbool has a well-established education program delivered in a school camp setting, and the Garden Room function centre is a popular venue for weddings and events. We are seeking an experienced educator to lead the Education and Site Operations teams at Narmbool in delivering safe, high quality public programs, events and education services, in a beautifully presented location. The role involves teaching, supervising staff, and developing new programs and events for adults, families and tourists.

The ideal candidate will have strength in a relevant academic discipline, a passion for the environment and/or heritage, and experience developing public programs and events.
