A vital and varied role in a unique organisation. You will be challenged by juggling multiple different activities at once. This role will see you using your expertise to guide the practical planning, design and installation of a myriad of museum galleries and exhibitions.
You will enjoy significant autonomy overseeing all aspects of the construction, installation, maintenance and storage of exhibitions and displays. A seasoned and practical manager, you will lead and support the dedicated Exhibition Services team.
This role will allow you to use your budgeting and resource management experience to ensure the construction, installation and maintenance of exhibitions that create a stimulating environment of discovery for visitors and enhance the Queensland Museum’s reputation as a world class museum. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in exciting large scale events such as The World Science Festival Brisbane. No two days at work will be the same.
