An exciting opportunity to join Te Papa as the Manager Exhibition Services. This position is responsible for leading, managing and developing the Exhibition Services team, and for managing the installation, deinstallation and maintenance of exhibitions, including the safe and appropriate display of collections.

The Manager Exhibition Services is responsible for leading new practices through prototyping and experimenting with new ideas and ways of working, and is a champion of any practice improvement to deliver outcomes in the most resource efficient ways that make our business more sustainable.

Reporting to the Head of Collection Services, this position sits within the Collections and Research Directorate, home to our core museological practices.

The starting salary for this position will be between $85,000 – $110,000 p.a. with further room for progression through the band. Offers will be made within the range to reflect the skills and experience offered by the candidate and those required of the role, and internal relativities with other employees.
