The Manager, Exhibitions and Galleries works autonomously within broadly defined guidelines to manage, develop, deliver, and evaluate temporary, permanent, and travelling exhibition projects to ensure the highest standard of presentation within the South Australian Museum’s galleries and external venues. The incumbent will provide project management and administrative coordination in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of temporary, permanent, and travelling exhibitions to attract and grow audiences for the South Australian Museum.
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department’s Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
- Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required.
- This role requires a working with children check.
- This role requires a National Criminal History check.
