Join the team at the History Trust of South Australia. The Manager, Impact Program will coordinate elements of the development, planning, management and successful delivery of the History Trust’s Impact training programs.

The Impact training programs address key issues in First Nations and contact history, the dispossession of First Nations people and its legacy of racism and Reconciliation.

Key components of the role: 

  • Coordinate and contribute to the development of program content, in collaboration with the content development team.
  • Analyse program requirements and outcomes and apply education expertise to provide advice on and ensure programs are responsive to participant needs, meet learning outcomes, and provide an engaging and positive participant experience.
  • Coordinate and undertake research and consult with others as required to ensure historical accuracy of program content.
  • Liaise with community members and technicians as required to generate oral history-related content for the program.
  • Coordinate program delivery and support for program presenters
  • Model best-practice teaching in an adult education environment.

About you: The successful candidate will be an experienced adult educator with a passion for history and a commitment to Reconciliation

Qualifications:

Desirable: Recognised competency based training or teaching qualifications, including training and assessment

Special Conditions:

Some out of hours work may be required. Occasional weekend work may be required. Engagement in this role is subject to a satisfactory Department of Human Services Working with Children Check. Intrastate and interstate travel may be required, and a current driver’s licence is desirable.
