Purpose of the position:
- Strategically grow museum visitation, visitor loyalty, museum reputation and profitability through a competitive membership program which delivers engaging and exciting experiences for our key audience segments.
- Identify strategies to drive longer term (5 year) membership retention including membership product enhancements and unique events or programs targeting the growing family segment while maintaining traditional longer term membership markets.
- Develop and manage the strategic change of the membership program to be a fundamental part of the Foundation and identify opportunities to engage members in the Foundation program.
- Undertake a full review of the corporate membership portfolio and identify opportunities to drive new corporate partnerships, grow existing corporate partnership into sponsors and review engagement with the museum.
- Elevate the visitor experience of members to meet the changing needs associated with the museum master plan including foundation and family markets.
Notes and Eligibility:
- This is an ongoing permanent role.
- Selection for this position will be made on the basis of relative merit which will be assessed against each item of the selection criteria.
- Applications that do not address the selection criteria will not be considered for short listing by the Selection Committee.
- As part of the selection process the selection committee may invite candidates to undertake psychometric test, you should advise the selection committee if you have any special needs. Psychometric tests may be used as the initial short-listing test or later in the selection process. Some tests are very short while others may take one or more hours.
