The Opportunity
The Manager of Museums is responsible for management of the History Trust of SA museums, including SA Maritime Museum, Migration Museum and the National Motor Museum and leading high performing and collaborative teams to ensure that South Australians have a highly positive experience of the History Trust through its museums.
Key components of the role
- Develop and enhance the museums as key tourism destinations contributing to the South Australian visitor economy.
- Ensure that the museums contribute to the delivery of the History Trust’s strategic goals.

We are seeking a natural leader and collaborator with an interest in history, museums, collections and being part of high performing team telling the stories of South Australia.
Special Conditions
Some out of hours work may be required. Occasional weekend work may be required. Engagement in this role is subject to a satisfactory Department of Human Services Working with Children Check. Intrastate and interstate travel may be required and a current driver’s licence is essential.
