ABOUT THE POSITION:
The primary responsibility of the Manager Public Information will be to provide effective management of public information staff, operations, research facilities, information systems and enquiry services of Museum Victoria, and the Information/Discovery Centres located at Melbourne and Immigration Museum.
Notable skills and experiences:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in best practice information services management and public enquiries services and the ability to recommend and implement change and innovative solutions.
- Demonstrated experience and sound understanding of digital applications that facilitate sharing of information and management of data.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate and lead staff and volunteers, and manage project teams.
