Under broad direction from the Head of Communications and Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the Memorial’s Marketing and Sponsorship activities in the development and implementation of strategic marketing and sponsorship plans for the Memorial. You will develop productive relationships to capture marketing opportunities and represent the Memorial in dealings with potential marketing and tourism industry partners, outlets and other agencies. You will also be responsible for the management of associated budgets and business plans and provide leadership within the team. The Marketing and Sponsorship Manager also has oversight of the Memorial’s Publications/Brand Manager, the Friends’ of the Memorial program and Raisers Edge database management.
A degree in either marketing, communications or tourism and experience in the marketing and sponsorship field is highly desirable.
This position is required to work outside usual working hours on occasion.
