Big ideas and daring conversations take centre stage in Brisbane every March, as the best and boldest from Australia and around the world come together at World Science Festival Queensland. Now in its 7th year and hosted by Queensland Museum, World Science Festival Brisbane explores and celebrates the entanglement of science and art through a curated program of thought-provoking conversations, inspiring theatrical and cinematic experiences, interactive workshops and engaging demonstrations. Originating in New York, Queensland Museum Network secured an exclusive licence to host World Science Festival in the Asia Pacific from 2016-24.

The marketing campaign manager plans, develops and implements the marketing communication activity and campaigns for World Science Festival Brisbane and World Science Festival Queensland in the regions of Ipswich, Toowoomba, Gladstone, Chinchilla and Townsville.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and the Executive Producer of World Science Festival Brisbane and Queensland, the Marketing Campaign Manager will manage the external facing components of the festival including marketing, media and digital campaigns, audiences, ticketing and audience research. The role will be responsible for ensuring all stakeholder approvals are undertaken and campaign deadlines are met on time and within budget. During the festival period, this role will oversee a digital content producer, a marketing coordinator, a graphic design and an event assistant, as required.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE

There are no mandatory qualifications for this role, however, a Bachelor degree in communication, media, business, marketing or similar and 7-10 years experience in related fields would be highly regarded.
