Marketing & Communications Officer
We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing and communications specialist who can support our teams and contribute to the effective marketing, strategic communications and public relations for the broad range of History Trust of SA assets and brands.
The Opportunity
The Marketing & Communications Officer coordinates and undertakes a range of administrative activities that support and contribute to the effective marketing of the History Trust of SA, its assets and brands.
Key components of the role
- Assist with integrated marketing and communication programs that leverage digital and traditional platforms to support the breadth of work across the History Trust through its programs, storytelling initiatives and public-facing museums.
- Coordinate a range of administrative activities to deliver digital marketing and communication campaigns that are both strategic and tactical and engage audiences with the History Trust, its museums, its exhibitions, programs and fundraising campaigns.
- Support the efficient and effective delivery of a range of public relations initiatives and services that develop brand awareness and meet and contribute to visitation and engagement targets.

Special Conditions
Some out of hours work may be required. Occasional weekend work may be required. Engagement in this role is subject to a satisfactory Department of Human Services Working with Children Check. Intrastate and interstate travel may be required and a current driver’s licence is essential.
Essential Qualifications
Qualification in marketing, public relations, or journalism.
