Duties
Working to the Manager, Communications and Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator plays an important role in the development and delivery of the Museum’s marketing activities.
Responsibilities include:
- under direction develop, implement and evaluate strategic and effective marketing campaigns for exhibitions, public programs and events, Shop, Café, School programs, and other Museum activities. This includes media planning, creative campaign development, production of marketing materials, and stakeholder liaison
- deliver and evaluate digital marketing campaigns
- manage paid advertising across social media channels
- execute electronic direct mail campaigns
- develop and maintain a variety of databases utilising a range of software packages
- assist with the implementation of the Museum’s communications and marketing strategies
- provide administrative and research support, assist with budget processes, including invoicing and filing
- liaise effectively with other business units of the Museum, external partners and stakeholders in the tourism and cultural sectors to ensure the best outcomes from marketing strategies.
