About the Position
As part of a small team, working in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for the implementation of strategies that promote the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House and its activities across the full partnership, marketing & communications spectrum.
The Communications & Partnerships team develops and delivers consistent and effective strategic marketing, media and communications for internal and external stakeholders, including government, key stakeholders, partners and philanthropists, to drive visitation and enable the agency to meet its strategic objectives and mission through effective partnerships.
The key duties of the position include:
- Reporting directly to the Manager, Communications & Partnerships, the duties are as follows:
- Deliver marketing campaigns including booking advertising and delivery of assets by deadline
- Assist in the development of communication materials including managing graphic design, printing and distribution of assets
- Working with the team to develop, manage and deliver successful partnership events, exhibitions launches and stakeholder engagement activities
- Manage team’s corporate, philanthropy and tourism memberships
- Staff support of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Assist with the team’s administrative and procurement requirements including managing stakeholder database, finance administration and tender documentation
- Manage and coordinate filming requests and internal photoshoots
Eligibility
Employment with the Museum of Australian Democracy is subject to the following conditions:
- Citizenship – applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
- Security Clearance – required to undergo, gain and maintain a security clearance at the baseline level.
