About the Australian Museum
The Australian Museum (AM) operates within the NSW Department of Justice and was founded in 1827 and is the first museum in Australia. The AM provides access, engagement and scientific research to increase our understanding of natural history and culture, particularly of the Australasian region. The AM holds more than 18 million objects of biological, geological and cultural collections and develops programs, exhibitions and school and community education initiatives onsite, online and offsite. About the role
The Media & Communications Advisor works as part of a dynamic team focused on raising the profile of the AM’s many programs, exhibitions and research initiatives. The role develops and delivers communications campaigns across owned and earned media, with a particular focus on PR and publicity strategies. The successful candidate will join the organisation at an exciting time in the AM’s development, and as such will demonstrate significant experience in delivering high yield media campaigns and a focus on delivering creative solutions.

Q1: Provide an example of a media campaign that you have managed which has delivered high yield coverage, and demonstrate how this aligned to the KPIs of the organisation or client.
Q2: Provide an example of your experience working with internal and external stakeholders in delivering a major projects with communication outputs.
