THE OPPORTUNITY
Museums Victoria, Australia’s largest public museum organisation is seeking a Media and Communications Manager to fulfil a full-time 6 month, fixed-term contract. We are looking for a strategic and experienced leader to plan and manage highly effective media and public relations campaigns and communications strategies.

Working with the Media & Communications team, some core functions of this position include:
- Develop and implement imaginative promotional strategies and campaigns that support and elevate a wide range of exhibitions, programs and activities across all Museums Victoria campuses.
- Develop key messages, briefing and issues management documents.

OTHER INFORMATION
Reporting to the Senior Media and Communications Manager, this is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and networked manager to fulfil a senior role for a period of 6 months. The successful applicant will be hyper organised, deadline-driven with established media relationships.
Exceptional writing skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritise and juggle concurrent projects in a supportive but fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.
