THE OPPORTUNITY

Museums Victoria, Australia’s largest public museum organisation is seeking a Media and Communications Support Officer. We are looking for an energetic and experienced individual to provide administrative and operational support to assist the Marketing and Communications Department with the delivery of media, communications, and marketing strategies.

Reporting to the Media and Communications Manager this is an exceptional opportunity for a committed individual to apply their skills and gain experience across a wide range of exhibitions, events, experiences, and social and scientific communications.

Working across our three museums this role will best suit somebody who is motivated to learn and establish their career in the media and communications sector.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or possess equivalent experience in one or more of these fields will be highly regarded.

This role is a full-time, ongoing position. The salary on offer is $52,493 per annum (Base of grade) plus 10% superannuation.
