ACMI is Australia’s national museum of screen culture. Based in Melbourne/*Naarm, it is a place for our communities to navigate the universe of film, TV, videogames and art with us. Join ACMI as a Media Production Coordinator, full time ongoing opportunity, and work with ACMI’s passionate Technical Services team. This role is responsible for the delivery of programs within studio spaces at ACMI including – studio operations, liaising with stakeholders, administration, technical and media production support. You’ll also create, design, coordinate and delivery multimedia content in support of ACMI events, exhibitions, festivals, and programs. Working as part of a small team you’ll deliver hands-on production work and supervise casual staff to deliver filming, editing, encoding, streaming of media content across a variety of local and online formats

Our ideal team member will have extensive digital media production experience in multi-platform environments. With excellent practical and conceptual IT and media production skills you have the capacity to determine technical requirements and provide technical leadership, guidance and training in new program creation. A skilled relationship builder, your excellent communication skills enable you to be a team player and translate complex information and systems to users with varying skill levels. With a demonstrated ability to use post-production editing systems, camera, audio and video equipment you enjoy creating project and program templates.

This Grade 3 role is offered on an ongoing full time basis with a starting salary of $72,75 plus super and allowances. A current Victorian Working with Children Check is required for this role.
