Duties

The Museum has an exciting opportunity for a professional to join the Public Engagement division as a Media Services Content Developer. The Media Services Content Developer will work on a range of multimedia projects, ensuring content is accurate, current, interesting, engaging and appropriate for its intended audience, in line with the strategic priorities of the Museum. This includes producing and editing high-quality media content and camera work through all production phases, undertaking research and keeping abreast of new developments in media technologies and content. You will work with the broader Digital Content Services team to understand the role of media content in the stakeholder and audience journey or communications plan, to ensure a seamless and optimised experience.

A key aspect of this role is to work in partnership with the in-house design, copyright and curatorial staff to collaborate on creative opportunities and media content development. You will guide, contribute to and critically assess project deliverables at key milestones and undertake quality assurance, testing and review on delivered products to ensure all standards and expectations are met.
