Duties
The Museum has an exciting opportunity for a professional to join the Media Services team as the Media Services Technical Lead, overseeing a small team responsible for the effective delivery, maintenance and support of audio visual platforms and infrastructure across the Museum.
This role is responsible for ensuring the Museum is able to deliver reliable media services technical support for programs, exhibitions, events and corporate operations. The incumbent will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer requirements and expectations. They will oversee program requirements including project planning, resource management, maintenance schedules, asset replacements, installations and de-installations, documentation and training. The incumbent of the position is expected to resolve complex technical issues and coach and mentor media technicians to build internal capabilities.
The position will work with team members to provide technical advice and support for clients and will manage contractual arrangements.
