MGNSW IMAGinE Awards
IMAGinE Awards 2017, Museums & Art Galleries of NSW, July 2017
Nominations for the IMAGinE awards are now open.
The IMAGinE awards recognise the people who work in museums and galleries across NSW and the contributions they make. IMAGinE celebrates all institutions–the big to the small–and pays homage to those organisations run by volunteers, with limited budgets and minimal resources. These awards offer a unique opportunity for museums and galleries in NSW to advocate, promote their achievements and raise their profile within the sector and the broader community.
We invite you to submit nominations that showcase highlights from the past year (1 July 2016 – 30 June 2017). We also encourage you to nominate a valued individual who has excelled within your organisation and the community.
The 2017 award categories are:
- Exhibition Projects
- Engagement Programs
- Capacity Building, Capital & Sustainability Programs (previously titled Sustainability Programs)
- Individual Achievement
Nominations close 5pm, Thursday 10 August 2017.
To nominate please read the 2017 Guidelines and complete the relevant nomination form.

IMAGinE awards night
The awards presentation night will take place at the Australian Museum on Friday 10 November 2017 (6-9pm).
All nominees are eligible to purchase discount early bird tickets before the nomination closing date. Please see the Guidelines for more information.
