The Manager, Aboriginal Contexts in Science 7-10 will work with Aboriginal Elders and community members, Museum SA and outstanding practitioners to design and develop curriculum resources for teachers and leaders. Provide high-level advice and support about the effective implementation of curriculum through evidence-informed curriculum design principles and resources that support learning improvement. Identify emerging trends in school curriculum design through consulting and working collaboratively with SA Curriculum Managers, other jurisdictions and ACARA.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a current full teacher registration to teach in South Australia.

Minimum departmental employment requirements for teachers include recognised teaching qualifications and registration as a teacher in South Australia and, in addition, for all applicants who are not permanent teachers with the department will include an active on-line application in the Employable Teacher Register (ETR), a cleared Education Department Employment Declaration, Australian residency or current work permit, Reporting Abuse and Neglect training (previously known as Mandatory Notification), and an approved First Aid Certificate.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department of Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. A current DHS child-related employment screening will be recognised as a WWCC until it expires. The incumbent will be required to undertake Responding to Abuse & Neglect (RAN) full day/online training course every three years. Requirements
