Bronze awarded to Museum of Australian Democracy at IDCA 2016, IDCA, November 2016

The Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House was awarded Bronze at the International Design Communications Awards (IDCA) 2016 for a newly evolved brand developed by Sydney based creative agency MAXCO.

MAXCO’s brief was to spearhead a bold change in brand direction, moving away from the rigid and more conservative approach previously adopted, and to present the brand with new purpose and as a first choice 21st century cultural destination. In response to the brief MAXCO created a visual expression for the brand that features an evolving conversation line grid and shapes, bold colour-ways, and a flexible branding system to welcome new audiences and to announce a new way of thinking.

The new branding is currently in the process of being applied and it includes new external signage, brand communications, printed collateral and corporate literature.
