Duties

Under general direction, the Multimedia Production Manager leads a small team responsible for the production of high quality audio visual/photographic content for inclusion in the National Collection. The role includes the ability to setup lighting, operate video cameras and other recording equipment, and have an understanding of video delivery over IT networks. The work includes recording and filming oral history interviews, capturing and editing video content related to the activities of the Memorial and organising a small team of dedicated practitioners.

The Production Manager is responsible for liaising with internal and external stakeholders and managing stakeholder expectations and current work area goals. The Production Manager is also responsible for organising the appropriate resources to ensure the timely recording of events as well as the planning and project management of video/photographic productions. The role is responsible for producing live stream video for delivery through the AWM’s online feeds which includes the staffing and technical running of the Last Post Ceremony. This position reports to Manager Multimedia Services and as required provides high level technical advice.
