Position Description

Museums Australia is the national professional association for the museums and galleries sector. The Museum Accreditation Program (MAP) promotes museum development in line with the National Standards for Australian Museums & Galleries. The two MAP Co-Managers coordinate the program and facilitate peer-review to support best practice in Victorian museums.

Applications for this position are invited from people with excellent museum practice, time management, teamwork and communication skills, and an understanding of the museum sector.

The annual salary for three days per week is $31,543 plus superannuation paid to the minimum required by applicable legislation, depending on skills and experience. This is equivalent to a full time salary of $52,572 plus superannuation. There are also 4 extra paid annual leave days per annum given to all staff.
