The Opportunity:

Based in one of Australia’s most prominent national heritage buildings, Old Parliament House, this position is responsible for the operational management of the human resource, planning and governance services across the agency.

About the Positions:

We are advertising 2x Museum Experience Officer positions. These positions are non-ongoing, part-time positions with a duration of 12 months and the possibility of extension or ongoing. Working hours are 24.5hours per week.

As a team member in the Museum Experience team, you will work with diverse public groups and have the ability to deliver and support a range of engaging public programs and essential services.

About You:

The successful applicant must demonstrate excellent people skills, work effectively within a small team, share knowledge, show initiative, and take responsibility for personal development.

Eligibility:

Employment with the Museum of Australian Democracy is subject to the following conditions:

Citizenship – Applicants must be an Australian Citizen.

Security Clearance – The successful applicant will be required to undergo and maintain a security clearance at the baseline level.

Working with Vulnerable People – Applicants must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Working with Vulnerable People (WwVP) registration.
