New Planetarium show

Dark and mysterious features of the universe are highlighting a new show at the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery, Inveresk.

Produced by the Melbourne Planetarium, Capturing the Cosmos showcases work done by Australian astronomers to understand more about the universe.

Powerful imagery of the universe surrounds onlookers in a dome shaped room, giving the audience a sense of space travel.

QVMAG Planetarium’s Technical Officer, Chris Arkless said Australian astronomers are at the cutting edge of research into dark energy.
