The Sovereign Hill Museums Association is a dynamic group of museums comprising of the Sovereign Hill Outdoor Museum, Gold Museum and Narmbool. Our purpose at Sovereign Hill and the Gold Museum is to inspire an understanding of the significance of the central Victorian gold rushes in Australia’s national story, and at Narmbool of the importance of the land, water and biodiversity in Australia’s future.

Sovereign Hill’s night show activities currently consists of AURA and Lamplight Tours. Aura is Sovereign Hill’s totally new immersive theatre experience. AURA features cutting-edge 3D projection technology.

Over 64 acres, hundreds of stunning projections create an immersive storytelling experience that transports you back in time. AURA runs 7 nights per week.

Lamplight Tours lead visitors into the darker side of goldfields life, visiting some intriguing places and characters. Tours run Saturday evenings only.

We are looking for a Night Show Activities Operator to join the team on a casual basis.

In this role you would be primarily responsible for the delivery of AURA by following set routines, SOP’s and safety checks. The night show activities operator could also be called upon to assist with other night show activities when and as required.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU MUST:

Experience in a similar role or with technical theatre productions, audio visual/sound and experience in programming or running technical aspects of shows/systems would be highly regarded.
